Weirdly, this is probably the mod I get asked about the most (excepting my hood upgrade). Seems like I get asked about every 5th trip to the gas station. Still works (three years out).

Received it and looks great! Fits over the existing filler housing as a bolt on addition as mentioned so not like other units to remove OEM flange. I like the simulated black bolts which makes them look real. My only concern and would recommend is that the black #8 x 1/2" Philips pan head screws that come with the unit should have been either 5/8"or 3/4" in length to give them a little more bite into the plastic housing if a little off-center. Otherwise mine is holding tight. Also, the lock is of a good quality with a nice key not of a cheap kind. Would recommend to spray a little WD-40 into lock to make the key slide in with ease.

Works great

This product installed very easily. I used a drill to make pilot holes and the screws went in very easy. It looks good. My complaint is concerning the lock. It is really cheap. It is hard to get the key in and out. You would think for $50.00 plus dollars they could include a quality lock. A five dollar padlock is way smoother than this lock.
