Lasted less than a year and a half before the bolts rusted through and then the light guard itself rusted so badly all the black paint peeled off as the rust built up underneath.

In the pictures they look great. On the jeep they look great......HOWEVER....after 3 years they completely rusted out. I figured the coating would be weather resistant, boy was I wrong. It wasn't just one, EVERY SINGLE guard rusted (some so much so that it stained areas around them). I would never recommend these to anyone simply for their lack of durability. I want to like RR so much (I have their wheels, light guards, gas cap etc) but they keep letting me down. I will submit pics later to illustrate my point.

Looks like these taillight guards could be nice but came covered in scratches, Quadratec's great customer service quickly sent me another set unfortunately they were even worse. Paint was covering off three of the four they sent me. I think the main cause is the cheap way Rugged Ridge packages these. The only thing protecting the guards from banging into each other is a thin plastic bag. Looks like I'll have to try another brand.
