Reviews for Bartact Mil-Spec Super Front Seat Covers for 13-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
By far the nicest seat covers I have ever put into a vehicle. I am very impressed with the fit and quality. They are very snug so that makes installation a little tricky (and yes, I had to get online to watch some videos) but that isn't worth taking a star away in my opinion. Very happy with my choice and well worth the extra money over generic seat covers if you want the fit and finish these provide.
Great seat covers. Ours were the red as shown in the ad. Suggest you check out YouTube prior to install for tips and suggestions. Removing the headrest on our 2016 JK was the most difficult part. Needed three hands but managed with a small screwdriver in one hand and the other free hand to depress the release button. Oh, and I did use the plastic trash bag on the seat portion to feed it through.
Easy to install great quality
Awesome! I previously had neoprene covers and didn't like them. These things fit like a glove. yeah, you to have wrestle with them a bit to get them on, but that's what makes them fit so well.
Well worth the money
Excellent fitting, high quality product.
So let's get on the same page - you're looking at seat covers for a Jeep. You are inherently a little OCD. If you're OCD enough for that, these are the covers you are looking for. We now have 2 JK's in the family. I've had the first set (when they were TrekArmor) for 3 years. They show virtually NO wear/sagging/fading/etc. after 3 years. These went on immediately upon purchase of our second.
They're going to take you an hour longer than you planned to put on. You're going to have to pull the headrests (they do pop right out). You're going to have to cut holes in your brand new covers for the headrests. You're going to feel like an upholsterer when you're done. They fit that well. If you want easy, go to your local auto parts store and buy a 1-size-fits-all made in China. If these are actually 100% built in the USA they are a steal. Sounds crazy - but at $150 per seat I'd challenge you to go to any auto upholsterer and get something with fit/finish that matches these.
Small Con: I do like the TrekArmor better - there was no cutout for side Airbags. Neither of ours have side impact airbags. Without the cutout, the fit is unrivaled. There is no option, however, to currently order without the hole for the airbag. This leaves the fit *slightly* looser and is an entry point for dirt, debris, and pet hair. On the plus side - Bartact has improved the headrest covers and MOLLE pattern from the TrekArmor days.
I still give it 5 stars. I've seen how hard it is to clean other Neoprene covers. After 3 years of Ab/use I feel confident saying these are the covers you are looking for. If they made them for my truck I'd buy another set.
Worth it! These are easily installed and form fitted to give you a factory look and better than factory feel! Mud wipes off easy with a damp rag, and rain just runs off leaving the seats dry.
Best Investment I have made for my Jeep. These covers are top notch, the quality is amazing and the fit is perfect.
Fits really well, looks awesome on the seats. My only complaint is the flap to cover the seat mounted side airbags does not stay tucked in for anything. I do not have said airbags. Just from simple ingress/regress from the vehicle, I am constantly having to tuck the flap back into the cover. Impact to the product: none, irritant to the owner: plenty. Other than that, love the covers.
Fits Great, however, I have to take away a start because of the lack of directions coupled with the fact you have to cut out holes for the head rests. The attention to details in how the bottom portion fit around the seat controls would indicate a bit more attention to the head rest area could be taken especial if you consider I've seen seat covers for a lot less then these who do account for the head rest.
