Reviews for Rightline Gear 4x4 100J78-B Soft Top Window Storage Bag in Black for 76-18 Jeep CJ, Wrangler YJ, TJ JK & Unlimited
I does provide a good place to store the windows but if you constantly remove/install the windows then it becomes a pain in the butt to do so. I ended up giving it away to someone that would probably use it more than me since I eventually just let it sit there.
It recommend using your rear window bar or whatever that thing is called that lines the tailgate lip to give the bag its shape. Doing this however ends up denting the plastic windows and looks ugly. So 5/5 for the bag and idea but 3/5 for the not so ease of use and damage done to the windows.
The bag is too slim to fit my three soft top windows into. Well, I probably could eventually do it if I spent enough time slowly and meticulously sliding them in, but at that point, I just throw my windows in the back. Pretty disappointing for me, and I usually think of myself as an optimistic buyer. However, you can fit your two side windows in it just fine and roll up your rear window and that would work for you.
Only got one summer out of this. Zipper jammed solid as rain began. I had to cut off the top of the bag to get my windows. Can’t find a phone number for customer service; I’d like to know if they would sell me just the bag.
Could use a better zipper
All good except the sleeves do not full cover the side windows
This is not the easiest product to use. It's difficult to get the windows rolled tight enough to fit into the cylinder. This is not good for on the go since you need a large enough flat surface to lay everything out and while the ground could work, it's not ideal.
This product doesn't really work with frameless soft tops like the Bestop Trektop NX or the Quadratop Adventure S top - the side windows are too long to correctly fit in the storage bag. If you fold the corner of the windows, then you can't fit the storage bag into the waterproof outer cover.
The effort needed to roll the windows tightly enough surpasses the usefulness of the bag. The zipper broke after just one use! Attachment options aren't bad though. Over all not worth what you pay for it.
You need to "REALLY" wrap this tight & it still doesn't fit in the bag.
