For me this dash mount was a little too small for my iPhones. I used it for about a year with my iPhone 6 and I found it just OK. It needed to sit a little higher because it kept hitting at the bottom. When I upgraded to an iPhone XS MAX it was definitely too small for the new phone. I could struggle with it and just barely get the new phone to fit but then it would sit at an odd angle. I've uninstalled it, and will be looking for a different mount.

Be forewarned — if you plan to use this for an oversize phone like the Google Pixel XL or one of the larger iPhones, the upright arm that the bracket snaps onto isn't long enough for you to orient the phone vertically. The phone fits in the bracket with no problem so if you want to use it in the horizontal position, it works just fine. But if you're like me and want the phone positioned vertically, you're out of luck. They really should warn about this in the description!

easy to install, great concept, but WILL NOT work with an iPhone 7.

Will not hold my IPhone 7 Plus in its case. I don't think you could get it to hold the phone without the case . Will give to a friend who can possibly use it.

My Galaxy 6 Edge, barely fits in this, it is so tight I have to remove it to put the phone on or off. It also covers the camera on the back, so its useless to video or photograph on the trails.
