Reviews for JKS Manufacturing Adjustable Front Swaybar End Links for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JK
Amazing I've ran them plenty of times
Good quality
Grease able and rebuild able
easy install
product appears to look very beefy, but
Ordered wrong part. not sure if mounting points are different between Rubicon and JK unlimited. I bought the 0 to 2 inch lift, because Jeep dealership said their lift was 2" these are too short if jeep lifted more than 1.5. I returned and ordering the 2.5 to 6 inch this time.
Installed easily!! Much better than stock equpment.
works well , but be aware the spring most likely will have to be cut about one coil length 1/8 to 1/4" and filed that adjustment seems to be quite standard. the manufacture really should just make a shorter spring. but the product does work after the alteration adjustment is made. and beats buying a new sway bar motor . you can keep the old motor connected and tie wired up out of the way keep your light from flashing until you find a procal tool . at least for mine anyway. unaware if you can borrow one or have to buy it specific for your vehicle id (aev programmer)
good
Overall these work well. I would have given 5 stars but there are a couple of shortcomings and I did run into one installation issue.
First, the installation issue. The lower bracket bolts that came in the kit were the cap socket type. I only had an 8mm and 10mm hex socket and neither fit. I think a 9mm would have fit. I was expecting hex head bolts like the upper bolts. Fortunately I had some leftover hex bolts of the correct size from another suspension project so I used them. Otherwise I would have had to make a trip to the store to get the correct hex socket.
Next, the zerk fittings do not have a check ball in them so the grease wants to squirt back out when the bushings move around. Don't lose the red caps or you will get dirt and water in the zerks.
It would have been helpful to have flats machined into the lower tube to make it easier to tighten the jam nut.
As Gary B said. You need to clearance your OEM Rubicon Swaybar to allow for the bolt to pass though. You'd want to make sure you have a sharp drill bit to get through the Swaybar steel.
