Reviews for Rightline Gear 4x4 Trunk Storage Bag for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I've tried several other products between our Wrangler and our Renegade and THIS one is the best yet!!!
Be ready, cuz this thing is huge! It takes up the full width of my 2 door 2013 JK Sport and the height is from the floor to the top of the back seat. The storage space is great. The back of my Wrangler used to be a mess of gear and tools, and now it all neatly fits into this bag.
I put the heavier stuff in the base, while the lighter gear will store nicely in the upper compartments. There is a removable hard shelf that separates the upper and lower compartments. This shelf works twofold: helps maintain the shape of the bag AND helps to support slightly heavier items in the upper chamber.
It's not completely waterproof tho'...... The flaps that close off each compartment have velcro at the bottom instead of a waterproof zipper. The PRO is that this velcro makes it easy to access each of the four main storage compartments. The CON is the sacrifice of it's true waterproof-ness.
Need soft trunk easily removal
worked perfect. fits all my accessories and then some. only downfall is I can't put my back seats down
Pro's: Better than the wooden boxes I had been using. Has 4 tie-down straps to secure gear better than the wooden boxes I had been using. Proper width for 2 door wranglers ONLY!!
Con’s: NOT wide enough for 4 door wranglers. Six inches of wasted space, 3” on each side. VERY flimsy inserts for compartment bottom and top support that will bend and break after a very short time of usage. Stitching on mounting straps does not pull perpendicular or 90 degrees to the stitching. It pulls at a 45 degree angle. It will not last long before it pulls out completely.
Overall: Better than the wooden boxes I had been using, Good start for a 2 door wrangler, but needs to be better designed for 4 door wranglers.
Love the bag. Fitment is pretty good, but along the lines of what has been said in other reviews. I'm in New Hampshire, though, and at the first hint of cold weather, one of the zippers broke. I bought a replacement tab and that lasted all of two uses. They need better quality hardware. I would avoid this until they upgrade the zippers.
