Reviews for Rugged Ridge Side Step Bars for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK 2 Door

So, I'm getting ready to order these for the third time for two different Wranglers. The first ones I ordered rusted out pretty quick so the second set I got smarter. I looked at the design and they are hollow so water goes in but it doesn't go out. I ended up drilling holes (just a few) from the bottom to let the water out. I also waxed them.They are about 6 years old with little rust.

This is a great product, really helpful having the side rails. The only thing I recommend is throwing away the instructions. wasted the 1st 2 hours trying to decipher what they meant then to realize they weren't needed. After that, install went great!

I like the looks of these Side Steps but after 3 years, the driver side is full of rust holes. Yes I like in Iowa and they salt our streets but seems a bit premature for this much rusting.

Nice enough, and do their job so far. But hard to recommend. I will try the quadretec version on my wife's jeep.

I made these work, but it isn't easy. Incorrect parts, instructions only cover up to 2013. It took so long to work out that quadretec won't take them back, which made it necessary to 'adapt' or be out $200.
