Simple install

Easy install but the constant wind whistling above 25 mph drives me nuts

The construction & Material seem of high quality. However the fit is not the greatest on the brackets that attach to the side of the Jeep. The mirrors also Whistle like a freight train even at lower speeds of 35-45mph. I wound up wrapping the back in electrical tape to allow the wind to pass over the back of the mirror rather than get caught in the lip between the backing and the mirror causing the whistle. For $100 i expected the design of the back to be a bit better. The mirror on the driver side looks good as far as the reflection however from a distance ie the passenger side the reflection is a bit warped.

The tolerance of the hole on the arm where it gets clamped is a bit loose allowing the arms to move up/down a bit. Not ideal when driving having bouncing mirrors. Also when I hit 25mph the mirrors start to whistle and it gets louder the faster you go. There is a sharp edged rubber bushing that goes around the edge of the mirror that makes it whistle. I am going to put a bead of clear silicone adhesive on the back to fix that.

not all the way happy with this. you cant see out of the passenger mirror because of the canvas door. hopefully it will be able to see better when i take door off.

If you drive at, or under, the speed limit these are decent mirrors. At 70 mph+ these things fold back and the clamp is too weak to hold them in place. Look for something with a better design if you want usable mirrors while driving at highway speeds.

Mounting holes don’t align. Attempting to install could cause cross threading. Instant return for me.
