Yes, this is a low priced cover, but still has MSRP of $349. If I had oaid full price, I would be returning it. The aluminum clamps and locking units are rough finished, some sharp edges. The clamps do not seem to really be for the Gladiator, as they do not without binding as you tighten them. And no, not the 1st cover I have installed. I would look at other rolls ups, even if you have to pay more. Gave it 3 stars as the material of the cover, and the tension bars, seem good quality.
Agree with Doug B. There is no lengthwise adjustment that will make it easy for the latches to fit. After getting it to latch on it was almost impossible to unlatch it. The clamps for the side rails do not fit the bed caps properly. The front tonneau section attaches to the rails with two small thumb screws. The whole setup is janky and I don't trust it. Spend more money on a better setup. This one's going back.
Just got done installing/fighting with this thing. Yes, fits the Glad well (could bounce a quarter off the cover it's so tight). System for sealing the cover on the sides seems effective. However, the aluminum brackets are waaaaaaaay too wide for the lip of the bed (no trail rails) and really require shims to keep the rails from shifting when tightening said brackets. Makes setting the rails to accept the locking mechanism a real adventure. Appear brackets are universal rather than fitted to the '23 Gladiator bed. Good luck pulling the corners over the velcro too-very tight. Also noticed gaps at the front corners between cover and bed which will need some additional weather stripping. All in all fairly mediocre, but too exhausted to go through the hassle of returning. Next time will spend the extra on a Mopar unit.
