Reviews for Quadratec Baja HD Fender Flares for 20-24 Jeep Gladiator JT
I'm running 37" tires on a 2" Mopar lift and found myself constantly catching my front fenders and needing a solution. I was carrying around a bag of spare plastic rivets just to reattach my fenders.
The Quadratec Baja fenders proved to be a perfect replacement. Not only do they have more than enough clearance for my setup, but that extra clearance makes my Jeep look like it has a larger lift than just 2".
Practical
I’m very happy with these, I’ve been looking for them since AXC had the wrangler ones. Good quality, i did have to do some trimming around the side marker hole. Pretty straightforward install. only wish they had a non textured paintable version. Also something that isn’t really clear is these reuse your factory side markers, but you need to cut the tabs off to work with the new fenders.
I received the product very quickly from quadratec. Everything arrived in good condition . I like the appearance of the Baja fenders because it closely resembles the rubicon / oem flares . I think this flares will do well for increasing my flexibility and reduce rubbing - I’m currently running 35’s , 2.5 inch lift . As a non-mechanically inclined individual, it took me about 2 hours for just one flare - I found the instructions/ and included photos could have been a little more descriptive. However, that being said , I was able to complete the task eventually- overall, look great and will preform out on the trails . Great pricing compared to other options
Install was straightforward and instructions were clear. Time will tell how they hold. up to the elements and UV rays. I was missing two of the truss screws, so right now my light housing is not properly screwed down. I need to call the manufacturer or run to my local hardware or big box. My biggest gripe is that the cut outs in the flares, for the lights, are really sloppy. They are a good value, especially considering they are made in the US.
