how many amps does the motor draw at max load? Also, Is it recommended to use a circuit breaker when connecting to the positive terminal of the battery?
The TACTIK T10 High-Performance Winch with synthetic rope draws around 400 amps at maximum load when pulling at full capacity (10,000 lbs). It's recommended to use a circuit breaker or inline fuse rated between 450 to 500 amps when connecting the winch to the positive terminal of the battery. This helps protect the electrical system in case of overload or short circuits during heavy-duty winching operations
