Reviews for Rock Slide Engineering Gen III Step Sliders for 18-25 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited 4-Door
Durability and functionality
Purchased these for wife's 2022 JL 392. I performed install and the provided instructions were enough to figure it all out. These things are great! Very well built and work every time. Love 'em. If I had to pick one thing I don't like, it would be they tend to remind my shins that they are deployed. I just gotta open my eyes.
Good product for getting in and out of Jeep. Good clean look when stowed, looks like factory option. Pretty easy install. Been using them for two months now without issue. Best Jeep mod so far as they are used every day and make the wife happy.
In stock and easy to order!
Excellent product! If you're thinking about getting these just do it. I know they are expensive but well worth it. The install was very easy and Rock Slide made the new wire harness very simple to install. Worth every penny!
These are amazing power step sliders. For the 2024 Wrangler, a couple brackets had to be changed to fit evidently. I just found this out AFTER I took delivery of this set. The correct part number from Rock Slide Engineering for the 2024 is BD-SS-301-JL4. I'm still waiting to hear back from Rock Slide Engineering on how to get the correct brackets, or if I need to return this set.
RSE Rock sliders are great, directions were good, install was straight forward, no issues with body mount bolts. Issue I had was with shipping It took 3 calls with customer service and 2 months to finally get them in. 1st set was damaged , 2nd set 1/2 the shipment was missing. 3rd set was finally received a good set.
Long term review just after 2 years. Construction is very strong and holding up fantastic. Upgraded to the Gen 3 assist spring as replacing the air springs every year was not fun but customer service was great. Sadly the powder coat has not held up to Michigan winter’s and lite off roading as well as I would have liked. They starting rusting pretty bad and I had them sanding down and refinish. Definitely one of best rock sliders just wish they had a better coating.
