You can’t get enough skid plates lol and the fact that this system is modular is just a bonus. Light weight and strong, very easy installation…it says 2-3hrs but it only took me 45 minutes by myself

Absolutely love this. Kicked the absolute crap out of it during a week in Moab. Took all the hits. Saved my exhaust and transmission more times than I can count. Certainly is not new anymore. Looks like it got hit by a missile at this point. But thats what it is for. No complaints at all. Doesn't rattle around. Don't even notice its there until you hit. Then you are glad you have it. Robust cross member and that it eliminates the stock cross member as a catch point is a game changer. Easy to install in about 45-60 minutes for both parts. Easy to do just crawing underneath the Jeep in my driveway. Get it!!

2022 Gladiator Willys FYI: Had an issue with taking out an OEM bolt due to the pressed nut in the OEM cross member came loose. Had to sawzall the bolt head off and then use a cutoff wheel to cut down the crimp edge so I could hammer out the remaining bolt and press nut. I recommend using a 1/2" drive wrench and not an impact when removing the OEM bolts from the cross member.
Now to the install: The driver side bracket had a major fitment issue. It would not align to the driver side bolts at all! Had to grind(Round File and Dremel) open both of the rear bracket holes to get the driver side bracket to properly fit. The single front hole was okay. Once that was done, I was able to mount the skid plate, adjust accordingly, and then tighten by hand all bolts. I like the weight of the aluminum over steel as I will be towing about 3500lbs and need to keep any added weight down as much as possible. the 4 stars are for the fitment issue. I still recommend this skid plate.
