Reviews for Paramount Automotive Hydro Series Fender Flares for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Nice quality, well made and fit well. LED lights are a nice bonus, especially for the price. Would recommend getting the paramount or other fender liners to complete the look, trimming the stock liners was a massive pain. Also these are wider than stock flares… guess I have to look into bigger tires/wheels now *twisting my own arm*
These are great fender flares to upgrade from the factory plastic fender flares. Excellent steel construction, and very easy install. Would recommend getting a nutsert tool as there are 12 outserts to install for the rear fenders. Very happy with the purchase and submitted photos as well.

This isn't a well known flare, but I have to say they are solid and I don't know why more people don't have them. First of all they're built well. Secondly, they look amazing. The slightly wider flare helps protect my rig just a little more.
Great but very expensive heavy rear fender are tooo wide
Front fender are ok lights very good
The instructions were in complete which made doing the first fender slow as I figured the missing segments out. I bought the fender and the liner.
Put the fender on first then the liner. It takes a 5 mm Allen and 13 mm open end wrench. Some of the nuts are hard to put in, the one by the light was the hardest, spent half hour each just on those.
It took me about 4 hours to do both front fenders and the liners. They look great. I’m going to the back fenders next month.
Since you can see the screws I painted them black before I put them on.
I recently purchased the Hydro flares and liners for my 2022 Rubicon. I have called several times and the following issues were confirmed as known with Paramout over the phone. I'm unhappy with these NOT being documented in the installation instructions or on the website (hence not able to make an informed decision prior to purchase).
1. The passenger side liner does not fit a 2022+ Rubicon as is (confirmed with Paramount). There are two bolts used for grounding wires on the frame that interfere with the liner. Had to cut the liner needs to be cut to fit. Apparently you are working on a modified design - too bad this was not noted in install instructions......
2. The fender has to be installed at the same time as the liner - what i mean is, you have to first install the liners top two screws, THEN install the fender and finally finish the remaining liner screws. This is because you can't reach some fender bolts with a socket if the liner is installed - again would be nice if this was noted in the instructions - would have saved a lot of time.
3. There are at least two bolts on the fender that are borderline impossible to reach - especially with the liner in place. The one on the very bottom left and the one right behind the DLR light.
4. The Christmas Tree Style pins popped out after doing a single trail run .... had to be replaced with their own supplies - def will pop out again and does not seem like a long term good solution.
Overall, while the look of this is good, for the high cost and quality (made in China) I am very disappointed in the design and installation complexity. It is also frustrating that you are aware of these issues yet fail to update the install instructions OR provide a callout in the website product page.....
Given all these issues, I am seriously debating if I should buy the rear fenders + liner or take the front off and sell them ..
I love the looks of the flares, the fitment was great, driving lights are bright as the headlights which is great. I bought these in Sept of 2022 and got the jeep together in later November and now I'm already seeing some rust on the flares which I'm very disappointed with. This Jeep is not a daily driver and stays clean most of the time. I don't know if it's poor paint quality or poor metal quality or something else. For the price I am very unhappy with the quality of this product. I rated 1 star due too rust, I love the looks and fitment.
