Excellent product! Installation was painless. I have a 35” tire on it and it opens and closes better than stock and no rattles or other noises going down the road!

Great product and pretty easy install, about 3 hours. It maintains the convenience of stock operaration but much more beefy.

I've had this installed on my LJ for about 3 years now and I am replacing because it doesn't last well while wheeling especially on longer stretches with a lot of bumps and ruts. It may work for you if you live in a flatter part of the country or use smaller tires. I needed it to support my 33s and it can on road but, over time with the tire bouncing slightly it has formed a stress crack in my tailgate. Even with constant realignment it doesn't work well for how I use my Jeep for wheeling and Backcountry routes. The parts are well made and easy to install and they haven't worn down but, my tailgate can't handle the abuse even with the reinforcement.
