Installation was easy. Instructions were easy to follow.

The fit and finish is really nice. You will need to choose the wire routing wisely. The positive cable was just long enough to reach the battery on my JkU.

I'm a fan of Superwinch, have purchased quite a few for different applications. Toe to toe, they are very close to the leading Warn winches for half the price. Install is a breeze, plenty of beefy wire for a direct battery connect, solid housing, power, and line speed. The wired and wireless remote is convenient, along with the added flashlight and illuminated drum from low light recoveries. 4 stars for the design, ruggedness, and the one recovery thus far. This is on a '21 JL 2dr, so getting stuck to begin with is tricky! 5 stars after beating it a bit more!

Features and price

The winch itself is a great bargain when on sale compared to the "red label" winches.... I've only had this on my Jeep for 5 months but the first time out, I noticed the fairlead paint was already chipping and had quite a few rough spots on it. I contacted both Westin/Superwinch and Quadratec but no one could offer me a solution. So point being, plan to spend an extra $100 on a quality fairlead if you get this one. Otherwise the winch itself is great.

Received order quickly but showed up with no wired remote and the wireless doesn't work.
