Reviews for Alpine SPV-65-JLT Rear Sound Bar Speaker Upgrade for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
HUGE IMPROVEMENT over the stock speakers. Only took a little over an hour to install. Pro-tip: use some cloth harness tape to secure and wrap the unused speaker connector to the wiring, it will drive you nuts rattling against the inside of the sound bar if you don't.
Definitely a huge upgrade with the sound and the bass seriously thumps. Great buy!
Just installed on MY JL with Jeep stock audio.
Made all the difference I was looking for! Best component speakers for the JL, looks great too!
Huge upgrade from the sound bar speakers that come stock in the JL. Bass is crazy. Highly recommend!
I was expecting a much higher quality sound and output. Struggling to see an improvement worth $500+ Kind of bummed I cannot return them considering I just chopped up my sound bar to get them in!
Not recommended. Waited 4 mths to give honest review. Jeep JL has all other speakers upgraded to Alpine incl sub. so thought these would compliment nicely. Installation was a pain as it is plug n play but the housing must be cut which involved some not nice language. Quality is par. Disappointed right away. After 4 mths, there is distortion. Noticable distortion. Removed and checked connections, all secure. Just sounds like they're blown. I completely do not recommend these speakers.
I’ve had these speakers for a little over 60 days and they don’t exactly perform how I wished, especially since I had to cut to fit them. They were almost immediately scratchy, unfortunately now stuck with another set or a new sound bar to start fresh.
Not a huge difference. It was very easy to install but the sound improvement is minimal
My stock speakers sound better than these. My 2020 Jeep Gladiator sounded good, but I thought this would be a significant upgrade. I've always believed in Alpine. I followed the directions to a T. They failed to mention that my sirius-xm antenna was also in the soundbar, and that by cutting into it, you were surely going to cut into the antenna wire. Now my $450 investment just turned into $650 after the dealer had to fix the antenna. And now that I've cut up my soundbar, I can't go back unless I buy a new one. Would not recommend this product
