Would this affect the functionality of a hardtop equipped with a soft top Sunrider?
Yes, the Sunrider would not lay flat when you fold it back.
Can this rack support loads that run across the rails (vs inside) such as lumber (a few boards, not like a truck bed full or anything like that) or kayaks? if so, is there weight limit for this type of use? Thanks!
Testing of load distribution on top of the rack rails has not been performed. If the weight is near capacity, it will just be important to take every measure the the load is distributed as equally as possible. Thanks for your inquiry.

On the aluminum roof rack for the JL, how does it fit on the two door? Does it cover the freedom panels, will it allow me to remove them? Or those it fit like it does on the four door? Thanks!
Similar to in the case of JT Gladiator the front rack mounts would mount to the back portion of the freedom panel, preventing the panels from being removed, while the rack is in use. Sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks for your inquiry.

I have a 2021 JL Jeep wrangler Rubicon - 2Door model. Is the Quadratec alu roof rack suitable for the 2 door model and can I attach one of those "aerodynamic " roof boxes say 55" long Thule type)?
Roof top boxes have not been tested to directly attach and in most cases a cross bar system is best for most cargo box usage. A aerodynamic cargo bag should be a direct fit. Accessories that do not work can be sent back for a refund in the event they do not work. Thanks for your inquiry.
