Reviews for Quadratec JL-LMB Heavy-Duty Auxiliary Light Mount Brackets for 18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
No cutting or drilling!!! Had to turn the bolts around and have the lock nuts towards the bumper ( backwards from the directions/pictures). I have the 4 cylinder and the heat exchanger was in the way. Flipping bolts around was for the best.
These brackets are fantastic! I was looking for a way to add trail lights without a) sacrificing folding the windshield b) purchasing a steel bumper or c) drilling into my plastic bumper or frame, and this is the solution.
Good design overall. Used this on a Sahara plasto bumper and it came out nice. Just the supplied bolts if you are not careful and over tighten the lower ones can make contact and scuff up your radiator fins. In my case, I eye balled a tad off and took some paint off while adjusting the thing horizontally. Apart from that, ya, this thing totally works well.
Great
Please update your instructions! If you have the towing package the bolt have to go in from the back with the nuts in the front. The extra coolers are in the way to be able to tighten any bolts from the back. This would have been a 5 if the instructions were better. The actual product is great!
Solid, sturdy hardware that will probably outlive the vehicle. For my 2021 JL, I had a bit of a struggle to put them on until I figured out that you need to reverse the nuts/bolts (bolts feed through back to front....not the other way around, despite what the directions say). Then, they went on easily. VERY happy with this product.
Sturdy mounting bracket and super great that it is made in USA but this Aux. light bracket will not work on a 2021 JLU if you have a Winch mounted in the Bumper, like in the stock Mopar Steel bumper on a Rubicon. Bracket hits the winch even at the widest possible mounting locations. Fitment shows that it fits 2021 JLUs but does not specify that does not fit is a winch is mounted.
This does not fit a 2021 JL Willys 2 door. Attempted multiple times to install behind the support bar but the radiator stack is too close to the bar to allow for the install bracket to swing behind the bar. The only way it appears to install on a 2 door at this point is to remove the entire front bumper to get it under the bar or to remove the support bar itself.
