Pretty easy install and sounds great, I would recommend upgrading the two clamps though to strap type ones.

I've been running this system on my Jeep for over three years. I may have gotten some fuel economy increase and maybe some power increase (haven't done a dyno), but it does get LOUDER! A great, deep guttural roar. Makes me smile every time I start my Jeep. Around town, it's loud. Idling in traffic, it's loud. On the highway, the sound gets lost. It's pretty much loud when I want it to be. I love this system. Wasn't the easiest to install...not a lot of room to work with under there, but well worth it!

Couldn’t be more please! I installed the Banks Cat-Back Exhaust on my 2006 Wrangler Unlimited (LJ) with no issues. The instructions were clear to follow, and I spent some time watching videos on line of others installing cat-back exhausts on their TJ’s and LJ’s. I recommend dropping the skid plate (support the transmission beforehand) instead of trying to reach the bolts on the catalytic converter. The skid plate may seem like extra steps, but it will cut your time in half. Anyone can install this exhaust with minimum tools. Sound? Amazing! The Banks exhaust makes the 4.0L purr like a kitten. It’s not overly loud inside the passenger compartment or interferes with conversations. From outside the jeep, the exhaust has the perfect tone giving the inline 6 and beefier sound. I immediately notice a gain in throttle response and the LJ felt peppier all around. I highly recommend this product. It’s clean, low profile, easy to install, and sounds excellent. Because of my pleasure with this product, I look forward to the cold air intake and tuner I will be after soon.

just finished up with this installation on my 06 TJ with the 2.4 Mopar 4 cylinder, installation was just as the directions read,it sounds great not like a fart pipe on a civic, just wanted to let guys know that have the 2.4 from 04-06 this kit will work perfectly ..

Super easy to install! Everything lined up perfectly. You will need to paint pipes will VHT paint. I used silver and looks fantastic. The muffler is stainless- no need to paint.
Sounds awesome not too loud but growls like a wolf.

Purchased this product for my 2004 TJ. Installation was a breeze! Literally took less than 30 minutes to install. No need to drop the skid plate as long as you have a long enough extension for your socket. Everything lined back up perfectly. Sound quality is great. Super quiet during idling and cruising, but great sound when accelerating. Performance has definitely improved since I installed this system. Gas mileage has increased a solid 4 mpg, but I also have the Banks Ram Air Intake system installed as well. I had originally ordered the Dynomax system but found out it was on backorder. Definitely glad it was, because I am extremely happy with the Banks system. Highly recommend this Banks cat-back system.

The cat back exhaust was a great add. My old muffler had a leak and I had been wanted to upgrade. The sound isn’t to much but enough to let you know it’s there. It does cause a vibration at idle but other than that a great add on.

Installed on a 2004 Ribicon. Sounds great. But had trailer hitch interference and had to reroute. Please solve this problem. Thanks

The tailpipe come in two pieces, one more place to leak. Quiet but has good sound when you get on it. The installation instructions were useless "put the clamp here ...blah blah" ...... you need to take the skid plate down, the transfer case is supported by it and the catalytic converter is attached to the transfer case so when it's all down nothing lined up with the supports. Put the skid plate back in place an then it lines up, the nuts on the muffler to the cat have to be loose to get everything back in and they are in a horrible place to tighten once the skid plate is in place. 2006 TJ, but it is sweet now that it's in ..... the rusted one I pulled was a Dynomax, which is what I originally ordered, thank God they were out of stock ...worth the extra $$$
