Reviews for Body Armor 20010 Sky Ridge Pike 2 Person Tent
A+
I haven't officially taken it out yet but I have used it in the driveway and so far I like it. The pad inside is comfy but you'll need another pad for the best comfort. Opening up is easy and setting up was very easy.
Got my Jeep 6 months ago. The perfect tent for my budget. I don't need to know how comfortable the expensive ones could be. I used it, fits 2 people but if you are not having a good day with your wife, maybe you will have to sleep under the car.
Easy to install, but because I checked this video (www.youtube.com/watch?v=242xAJUqF5s) The instructions included were bad. Black and white and blurry. I was able to pick it up and put it on top of my DIY rack by myself. The hardest part was to put the cover. No instructions. I like the tent. It does its job.
After doing my research I choose the Body Armor tent. We went on a two week camping trip up the Blue Ridge Parkway to PA. Then down the east coast camping at beaches making our way home. After a couple of day we had the unpacking and packing the tent down to 10 min.
This is a very well designed tent. We loved the skylight and unzipped it every night. Was very stable even when we moved around at night. Two pockets on either side for your keys, phone, and misc. Mattress was very comfortable.
Ladder was super easy to use and that is the only negative. You have to climb a ladder to get in and out but the benefits of being off the ground make it all worth while.
Unit weighs under 100lbs and bolted onto my existing 4runner roof rack with a bit of work. We did not notice hardly any noise or drop in fuel economy.
All in all for the price this is a excellent unit and I would recommend it to anyone. People stopped to watch us put it up and ask all kinds of questions.
Needed something that can be up and down quickly for my solo adventure through CA, NV, and AZ. This was perfect with 4 zippered windows (plus a "sunroof") to help regulate temperature and air flow to deal with cold mountain nights all the way to 110+ degree desert.
