Which locking knob is used with this mount? (What size are the bolts?)
Here is the correct knob in the following link. Fits 3/8 inch bolt, 16 thread https://www.quadratec.com/p/hi-lift/hood-mount-locking-knob
Can I mount these so it points up to clear a Decked system in the bed? How will it handle dynamic stress while being shaken all over?
Hi Lift confirmed it will not point upward. There is a support arm that could not be used if aligned that way, and it is needed. Thanks for your inquiry.
Will any size highlift fit?
This is designed for fit with 48" hi-lift jacks only. Thanks for your question.
Can you mount the jack to the front of the bed, under the rear window of the cab?
Yes this can be mounted onto any of the trail rails provided that the jack fits dimensionally
Do you need to have the trail rail system, or can the jack supports be screwed directly to the bed sides with the threaded holes beneath the truck bed side rails?
These are meant for the trail rail system.
