Can this be installed under the soft top?
No, it cannot.
Once installed, how quickly can owner set this up if caught in a rain shower?
It needs to be installed completely when you want to use it, and it will take approximately 25-40 minutes or so for most. Keep in mind this top is not weatherproof at all and is not a very good option in a rain event. Thanks for your inquiry.

Can't find a good picture or description. What is the difference between the black diamond and master twill? Durability, rain protection, or is it just appearance?
Black Diamond is slick to the touch like vinyl. Twill is thicker fabric that is a canvas feel and the finish and appearance is similar to high end sports car convertible tops. Twill holds it's color better and looks fantastic again after saturating downpours. Twill is very low maintenance and has much better longevity. Twill will be better with exterior road noise as well. Will this go over roll bar covers and sunshades?
The straps should be long enough that if you have added a roll bar padding cover kit we expect it will fit but might be a little tighter going on the first time. A MasterTop mesh top should be able to remain in place, but we have not tested other brands of mesh top. Thanks for your inquiry.
Will this fit a 2021 JL 2-door ? I am looking for a top that also covers the back seat.

How should I clean the top? Does it need dry cleaned or can it somehow be home washed?
The soft top fabric should be washed often using a mild soap, warm water and a soft bristle brush. You can also use special soft top cleaners available.
