Reviews for Rugged Ridge Arcus Front Bumper for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
Love this bumper. Arrived quick and well packaged. Wasn't sure how the stubby would look but it looks amazing! Installation was pretty straight forward, did it on my own. Hardest part was holding the bumper level while inserting the bolts. All said and done it took roughly an hour. Added d-rings and the quadratec LED foglights which fit great and went in easy. One of the best looking bumpers I've seen and I would definitely purchase again!
Short bumper that I can mount my winch low without starving my radiator from air.
So heavy..if you install this bumper yourself.
But its really cool! I actually want to install rear bumper also. But unfortunately arcus rear bumper is only JL,, ;(
Anyway Thankyou!
Everything fit perfectly. I didn’t have to drill or cut anything (2016 Rubicon). Instructions were dead on, be sure to read them first. Tip: install the wires on your winch first, I didn’t and had a ground stud under the winch (Badland 9000 lb) and even with the outer bumper off I had a very tough time installing the wire on the stud. You will need a second set of hands.
love the look of this bumper. light weight. easy to install. no issues. Had to relocate the vacuum pump to install the winch
Very happy with my new Arcus Bumper for my JKU. Very different style from all the large angular bumper out there. Holds the winch low in the bumper to ensure good air flow.
Love my new Arcus bumper. Install pretty straight forward. Helps if you have an extra set of hands. Factory fog light harness on my 2010 JK didn’t stretch far enough, made it work by splicing one side. Hint, if installing a winch, do it before you install the stamped bumper shell, it covers the front two tray mounting holes.
Love the look & quality. It was easy to install as well.
Overall look
I love the way this bumper looks. Install is definitely a two person job as the parts need to be held together while mounting it up but everything fits snug and good. The bumper itself is made of a thin metal which isn't as strong as I wanted it to be but the hooks on the front are super heavy duty. The bull bar on top is not really even a bull bar as it's held in place by two bolts, you couldn't sit or even put a foot on it without bending the bracket underneath. This isnt a bad review of the bumper because I still love it, I just wanted to make it clear that you won't be going around pushing trees out of your way you will just be looking badass.
