I am wondering how long the receiver tube is please. I will need at least 10” of receiver tube length from the receiver to the cargo rack to accommodate my spare tire. i have a 2020 JLU.
The basket to the pin is 17" away from the hitch pin hole. The hole is 2" away from the stem. This will clear the spare mentioned in the question. Thank you for the question.

This cargo rack is only sold with the storage bag.
Recently bought aluminum cargo carrier with waterproof bag. Although comes with 6 straps, all pictures appear to show only 4 being used. The middle straps don’t appear to be big enough to latch around rack. It also comes with 6 oval chrome rings. They are not mentioned anywhere in instructions or shown in video. What are they to be used for?
The metal D rings that come with the cargo bag can be used to connect two of the provided straps together. This allows more options on how you use the straps or where you attach them. All of the straps provided are the same length. There are 6 straps and 6 attachment points on the cargo bag. The chrome rings allow you to connect two straps if you aren't using the attachment points on the bag or if you are holding something else down on the rack that doesn't have built in anchors.
What are the 6 metal rings that came with this for?
This is so you have the ability to connect the straps provided to various lengths, giving you versatility in cinching down the cargo.
Does this fold up and out of the way while staying in the hitch?
