I swapped my bumper and need to relocate the license plate. If I buy this light, do I also need a license mount kit? If so, which one is compatible?

How does this attach to the jeep JL? I can't tell looking at the pictures. Does it require drilling into the body or does it mount to the top of an aftermarket bumper somehow?
Each individual bumper that requires relocation of the plate should include a bracket that this can install onto when the plate is being installed. This is simply the lighting that can be plugged into factory wiring without splicing
Would the wiring be long enough to accommodate a run to a spare tire license plate mount?
The length of wire is only 40". There would not be enough to run to the spare and still be able to open tailgate
