Reviews for Borla S-Type T-304 Stainless Steel Catback Exhaust System for 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT
Easy install, sounds great. Makes the 3.6 sound a little more mature without it being obnoxious for daily driving. Black dual tips were chipping right out of the box, but Borla sent me replacements without question and they've held up perfectly.
This is a great sounding and performing cat back exhaust! The instructions are accurate and easy to understand and I had the system installed in a few hours with the help of a friend. If you don't have a friend to help you hold the system up while you install the hangers use a jackstand or something similar and you should be fine. It might take you longer but you can install this by yourself without an overhead lift. The sound is very mature and mellow but the performance gains were outstanding! Best of all, there is no droning or other unwanted sound in the cab of my Gladiator, just the mellow sound of performance. I installed a K&N Blackhawk cold air kit first and then the Borla cat back. They work together perfectly to make real power increases that you can use on the road or trail.
If you want great power increases and great no drone performance sound the Borla cat back with touring mufflers is what you need. If you want more agressive tones listen to the Borla S and Attak cat back systems. They all make about the same great performance increases without a tune.
This was a good purchase and I would reccomend Borla to anyone wanting an easy install and great sound and performance.
My dealership wanted $1500 to purchase and install this exhaust. I bought it for approx $650 on Quadratec and paid my local mechanic $130 to install it----perfect! I was afraid it would be too aggressive sounding (I'm 52-yrs-old and wasn't looking to wake the neighbors). 24-hours after getting it installed, I love it! Just enough rumble at higher RPM's to feel manly, but not obnoxious. If my stock muffler was a 2 on a 1-10 sound scale, I'd rate this a 5.5 or 6. Very happy with the purchase.
Not difficult to install (instructions were awful though).
Sound nice and grown up.
