Reviews for Synergy Manufacturing Steering Stabilizer Relocation Kit for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT
Moves stabilizer up out of harms way. Looks good!! Been on for a while now and no issues.
The collar is steel, others I have seen are aluminum which I think is wrong for this application. The collar without the bolt weight was 1.4 lbs.
When turning all the way to the left the boot of the steering stabilizer gets squished about as much as it can take and the big bottom link gets pushed around it's flex joints but it appears to be OK so far after a few days and the stabilizer is perfectly parallel with the lower link. The boot seems to get cleaned regularly by this flexing. The screw that holds stabilizer in place was so small I replaced it with a longer one that I had and used a couple thick precision washers and put blue thread lock on it. And I put the little screw in the glove box in case that one breaks.
The vehicle, 2021 Ecodiesel Gladiator.
Easy to install. Quality item.
I had purchased a MetalCloak Front Axle Disconnect Skid Plate System/Stabilizer Relocation kit, however their website did not denote that it was intended for 'lifted' jeeps. As such, once mounted my stock stabilizer rubbed against the frame at times when I (electronically) disconnected the sway bar. So I was searching for another way to mount my steering stabilizer and found the Synergy Mfg product!
WOW this is a LOT easier to install, plus it doesn't raise the wheel-side stabilizer mount up nearly as high as the M/C kit did. So now, my stabilizer sits almost level and doesn't bump into the right front frame rail when articulating the suspension. Another great thing about this kit, is the Tie Rod Mounting Clamp is so much more heavy duty than the one M/C utilized in their kit. With six allen-head bolts clamping it in place, along with a hefty bolt to hold the end of your steering stabilizer on it this should provide years of service.
Note: I did add a fender washer beneath the "button head screw" just to insure that (in decades to come) if/when the rubber bushing begins to disintegrate, the steering stabilizer cannot work it's way over the "button head screw."
