Reviews for Fishbone Offroad FB25137 Tailgate Table for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
This is a fantastic tailgate table. My table rattled A LOT when I first installed it. However, I was able to fix the rattling by adding Scotch cabinet bumpers to the black rubber bumpers that came installed on the table. The black bumpers installed on the table are just a little too short so there is not enough tension to keep the locking pins from rattling when the table is in the stowed position. I also installed a black foam sheet between the table and the tailgate which even made it quieter and hid the exposed wires resulting from having to remove the plastic trim. Black foam sheets came as part of the packaging so you can even use this as backing material.
The sides of the table, nothing slides off
Good solid table

Got this to mount on the outside of my tailgate. Awesome quick easy and painless install when installed on the outside. Perfect for tailgating! It is the perfect add on if you dont run a spare tire.
Solid construction but the QC needs more attention to detail. Braces for the bumpers was welded crooked and one of the drink supports had bare metal and wasn’t coated completely you can see these in my photos. The crooked weld doesn’t affect functionality but doesn’t look great. I had to paint the cup holder brace so that it doesn’t rust.
It’s a very nice, solid product and looks good when mounted. I would have given 5 stars but while the tailgate table is rock solid, the design that required having to remove the wiring cover to attach, left exposed wiring for 3rd brake light. To men, that may be nothing but to a woman it looks raw, unfinished. Now I’m trying to come up with a way to cover the wiring harness. I’m thinking I’m going to put a thin sheet of aluminum behind the back of the table. But aluminum sheets are ridiculously expensive.
Just an aggravating issue that could be an easy design change.
Bad instructions. It tells you to center on the tailgate. I did this and have drilled into something solid inside the tailgate. So far I have drilled 8 holes and still can’t get the nut certs to go deep enough to fit flush against the tailgate. The instructions should show exactly where to mount it.
Looks great and functions really well. The reason for 2 stars is that an extra tool is needed to mount on the inside of the swing gate (yes, I probably should have read the instructions) and not all of the parts per the instructions were included. A note that says drilling is required is great, but if it could also say a Nutsert tool is required would be outstanding. I don’t know how many folks have a Nutsert hanging around in their garage…
