Is the “chrome” center piece plastic or metal?

I would like to install these on my ‘05 LJ. Which adapter would you recommend? What else would I need?
Purchasing 2 pairs of wheel adapters will allow you to put 5x5 wheels on a 5x4.5 bolt pattern axle you have on the LJ. Would these be compatible (clearance-wise) with the Teraflex Delta brake kit with an appropriate wheel spacer? (1.25”?) Really want to get these wheels, but also looking to upgrade to a big brake kit, and hoping to know in advance what options will “play nice” together. ?
