Price cheaper than everybody

By no means a bad review against quadratec. fast shipping and best price back in 2021 when this went bad. however when i went to order again (because part failed this month Dec 2022) i saw other reviews mentioning the lack of longevity. I've since ordered another one that is aluminum, hoping for better quality. if you are replacing this part (that Chrysler should be paying for btw) I would try to avoid plastic ones.

Only lasted 9 months. Replaced in March 2021 and it started leaking in December of 2021.

This was professionally installed and began leaking after four months.

Upon receiving this part, I noticed that there was some type of lock-tight on the two sensors that are screwed on the backside of the oil adapter, so I continued with the installation. After roughly 100 miles, the oil pressure sensor was shooting oil out and leaking down the back of the engine. I had to tear the top of the engine off again to get to the adapter just to find out that I can turn BOTH easily with my hand. After disconnecting my factory Jeep wires from the adapters I was able to tighten them as much as I could hoping the original lock-tight would hold. A few weeks later (yesterday) my engine started shooting oil out once again. I am almost certain that this part has failed again and I assume I must take the top of the engine off again to remove the sensors to clean and reapply new lock-tight properly. Anyone who orders this product will be advised to remove the sensors, clean the lock-tight off, reapply new lock-tight and then tighten the sensors back in properly.
