Reviews for MasterTop Replacement Rear Window for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with Original Mopar Soft Top
Keeps the rain out
It's amazing how clear the window is compared to my old one! Only issue is I can't get the right side lower tab thing to fit.
Have not received it yet, but was easy to find.
OK
Didn't receive yet will let you know once i use
Well packaged, vinyl window is protected inside the box by sheets of soft paper. Fit on the 2013 JK is exact. The zipper looks sturdy, meshed with the original zipper perfectly, tabs pull it taught as they should. Love the darkened look. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 is the stitching could be a little cleaner. I needed to take care of the “Irish Pennants” Over all. I don’t have any idea why people knock this product in reviews unless they didn’t research and order the correct one for their vehicle. So close to 5 stars.
Have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler soft top with original soft top. Not super happy with this top. Fits super tight. There was extra zipper material that made putting on the zipper feel like we were going to rip it... we had to pull very hard and it is still appearing bunched up. Once we got the zippers on, the tailgate flaps were very hard to put back... had to have my husband help (and I hate that... it’s my Jeep and i like to change items out on it myself). When you close the back tailgate the tail gate bar appears ABOVE the back tailgate. VERY concerned that this will leak when it rains. Also concerned that it will become a chore to unzip and put the window up when loading groceries and then putting the window down. Wish I could replace it but nervous it will be the same problem and my old window had a huge hole in it (thanks to my 5 year old ;) and we put this on and if I exchange it I won’t have a window... during 30 degree weather. Kind of stuck with it now I guess.
I've had this on my car for a while now. I noticed that it was a tad short, leaving a gap between the trunk door and the window bar. I didn't think much of it, but over time realized it's a much bigger deal. Not only it brings in a draft and noise, but when it rains, water comes in and and I have to empty puddles pooling in the storage trays. had to go back to the original...scratches and all.
Teeth did not line up correctly on the factory top, so I am unable to use it. Quality is top notch otherwise. Really wish it fit.
I have a 2010 JK with the original manufacturer top and this window is clearly too big. When you try to zip it in you are clearly left with an extra 6 inches of zipper! I'm sure it's a great window for a Jeep that it would fit. I'm only giving it 2 stars because it doesn't fit.
