Just installed these on my 2021 unlimited sport s. Took about 20 minutes. Took longer to find the right socket/wrench combination than to install the nerf bars. My only complaint is, why aren’t the nuts and bolts using the same size?

These are great looking sturdy steps. Unfortunately I write this because they don't hold up. 1 year later and they rusted. It's now 2 years and I have them off and we are attempting to refinish before I toss them.

So the steps I got for my 2022 Unlimited do not fit like the picture and came in 8 parts I had to fit together. They didnt just “bolt right on”. Also if i use all the bolts per the instructions in the bo, the entire bar sits about 2-3 inches away and below my jeep body making it look really weird. If i use six less bolts I can slide the steps up to look right but I am uncertain about the integrity of the steps mounted that way.

Rusted in less than a year.

Not impressed here. The steps installed easily enough and felt sturdy. My issues is that after only 3 weeks of installation, there is rust forming where the foot platform meets the tubing. I am assuming powder coat simply didn't make it into all the cracks and welds. When it rains, it literally drips rusty water from the steps and looks even worse. This is occurring on BOTH steps, so I don't believe this is a one off defect. Oh well. I wanted to like them, but I shouldn't have rust issues in less than a month of install.
For what it's worth, my JLU is garaged, so exposure to the elements was not constant.

I reached out to Quadratec customer service about this issue, but I have not heard back as of writing this review regarding any sort of remediation.
