I love the look and feel of these. Installed pretty easily however, much like everyone else commenting, there is difference on the fit from the drivers side and the passenger side. The rattling noise on the passenger side is very annoying. I attempted to put a piece of rubber between the Rubicon rail and the slider but instead of the rattle now I have a more solid noise. I took them off to verify and the noise goes away. I will keep trying/experimenting until I can get it right.

Product design, materials and functionality are very good. Manufacturing quality is good but varies (made in China). Installation is very easy (under one hour). Customer service is excellent.

Installed right side with no issues, but left side just would not fit. Removed the other slider rail and placed both side by side and compared measurements with 6-ft steel rule. Found the left side bracket holes were misaligned ½ inch horizontally and 1-1/4 inch vertically. QC passed according to “Inspector #19765”. Obviously, this was a manufacturing quality escape as the packaging was not significantly damaged for a 50-lb shipment. No surface dings or scratches on the finish though. *****Customer service shipped a replacement next day air – can’t beat that! Installed the second set without any fit issues. I did swap the first right side with the second as it had better clearance to the Rubi rail on one end. Unfortunately, the second set had one surface ding on each slider with minor metal and paint displacement. Decided to keep them despite the cosmetic flaws (they’re going to get scuffed up anyway).

FYI –The rails extend one inch beyond the stock fenders. While not a true “step” platform, the rail gives my spouse a leg up on entry. She’ll still be wiping mud off her legs getting out though.

2017 JK 2 door Willys with factory ruby rails. Arrived promptly and in good shape. Confirmed easy 30 min install. Confirmed slight rubbing/rattling noise towards the rear on both sides. Easily addressed with piece of an old bicycle inner tube, so 4 not 5 stars. Quadratec label peeled off easily with a little Goo Gone and needle nose pliers. (No advertising unless 5 stars for this Jeep). Still very pleased given the lighter weight and 1/2 price of a leading alternative brand that only sells direct these days.

Just like everyone else with one exception. They look great and serve their purpose. But for me it’s the drivers side that constantly rattles whenever hitting a bump. Have considered taking them off as a result.

As other have mentioned though, the drivers side fit perfectly with an even gap between the rubicon rail and the sliders, however the passenger side sits right against the rubicon rail and rattles when driving over bumps. Out of 6 reviews, I’m the third person having the exact same issue. Going to have to install shims to fix the issue. What’s the deal Quadratec?

Fantastic step/rock rails. Quick easy install and provide a very good step. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they installed so tight to the rubicon rails they knocked/ rattled over bumps and rough roads. Simply loosened the nuts and installed 1/8” body shims.

Ditto everything Reed K wrote. For my 2016 JKU Rubicon the driver side fit perfectly with no running and the passenger side required shimming. Why is the passenger side fit to different?

first the good. fast shipping. love that they mount in conjunction with the rock rails, so few do. packaged well. easy to install. love the look.
the not so good. the drivers side mounted with ease, the passenger side....not so much. the running boards sit too close to the rock rails and rubs. i had to use rubber spacers to keep them from rubbing. will need to come up with a better long term solution. even though they were packaged well, the passenger side had a long scuff in the paint and the drivers side had a gouge through the paint. will have to get some touch up paint for the gouge before winter. love them but would even more without the issues.

These mount easily. They look pretty good although in my opinion they set too low below rubicon rail. The worst thing about them is how they rattle. I’ve tightened them and loosened them. Still they clang against the factory Rubicon rail. I read one review where someone said they had to shim them to keep them from rattling. Kit should have come with shims if that’s the fix.

Easy install and solid feel.

Low review, because, like others, I experienced SEVERE noise and squeaking in the front passenger side, even after several re-installs. I ended up grinding A LOT of metal off of the front-inside of the Quadratec bar to eliminate the squeak, but I still have some added noise in the same area. Left side is perfect.
