Fit my 91 yj. Problem I personally had was it didn’t seem “clocked” correctly. It was a bear to get the bracket in hole, then popped out a couple times. Don’t want to pull all the way to the off position and the red part is cheaply painted. It does it’s job kinda. It works but expect to fight with it a bit to get it on and working.

Had to modify the end of this cable because it is too short for my 1990 YJ. Need about 3.5 inches more to route as OEM. The shortness results in not being able to move the control lever to "OFF", but I got it to work by modifying the attachment at the heat box defroster control. Also abandoned the firewall clamp. Used aircraft safety wire to re-enforce the structural snap-in plastic guides which seem softer than OEM. BUT... it works!

I give this 3 stars because I was able to make it work however, it is about 4-5 inches shorter than the OEM and makes the install challenging for something that should be so easy to produce and replace. It did fix the problem I had with my previous cable but had this product been the proper size I wouldnt have had to modify the install and routing.
