Not even strong enough to withstand installation. Tightened it down with my original underhood bolts (does not come with bolts). Walked away for 5 minutes and when I came back one of the studs had spontaneously sheared off under tension. Honestly glad it broke right away and not on the road with my kayak strapped to it...
