Reviews for Rough Country 10561 Throttle Body Spacer for 12-20 Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, & Gladiator JT
Install was a piece of cake. Nice subtle whistle now.
I've noticed a little improvement in throttle response and engine performance in my '15 JK and the intake sounds a little more throaty when you get on it. Installation was easy; it only takes 10 minutes. Definitely worth the money
Helped improve throttle response slightly. Would recommend to buy this if you can find it on sale, wouldn't purchase for retail price.
The four washers that were supplied were too large in diameter and hit the throttle body so I did not use them. There were not washers used on the factory setup so I assumed it would be OK. Make sure you have the gasket oriented the correct way- the directions don't call for a specific orientation, but there is a flat edge. Pretty simple and quick installation besides those points. There is a whistle at higher RPM due to the helix design that kind of sounds like a turbo. Can't decide if I like it or not, but I'll give it some time. I have not noticed any MPG differences but I've only driven in town. I do notice a better throttle response. I have this paired with Rough Country's cold air intake.
Install was easy. Does it make a difference? None that I can ascertain...
The four washers they supplied were too big in diameter and hit the throttle body, so I didn't use them. There weren't any washers on the original setup either - so it should be ok. It was relatively simple to install, and the spacer looks great. I haven't driven enough with the new setup to notice a change in mileage. But I think I can detect a bit more acceleration at full throttle. It was well-worth the money - especially compared to competitive versions.
