It’s okay. The mount would be fine, but on the 2017 model, you need to secure it to the plastic mold under your seat. I misunderstood this from the description, I was under the impression that you could remove the plastic piece and secure to the seat frame. That is my mistake. It is semi-secure. When removing the flashlight there is some flex in the plastic piece. I’m not sure how long it will hold up. As for the LED flashlight, it’s okay as well. For the extra 15-20 bucks or something, it is fine. It does feel cheap though. Overall three stars.

One of the clips broke in short order. Flashlight hadn't been used and I'm assuming at happened from some hotting the flashlight on entry/exit and knocking it out of the clips. Disappointed with this. Then the switch on the flash light went. The flashlight was used only a few times and when I needed it last night the switch didn't work and I couldn't get it to turn on. Looked at the flashlight again this morning. Got it to turn on after a hard press and then I couldn't get it to shut off. Finally got it to shut off and have not been able to get it to turn on again.

I think this was a piece of junk. Installed easily, and it's a great idea, but the second time I pulled the flashlight out one side of the clamp broke off and made it useless.

Received the product which may have been decent. However the flashlight didn’t work.

Save your money…broken after 4 months.
It was easy enough to install and worked well for 4 months then one of the plastic clips broke off.
I’m still able to use it, but it’s a matter of time before one of the other clips breaks and makes the flashlight holder useless.
Needs to be sturdier!

Don't waste your money on this item. I am still waiting for the bracket piece to show up but the flashlight itself is very dim. I would just maybe get the bracket and find a brighter, better quality flashlight from someplace else.

Flashlight option aint worth the extra 20 dollars . Upon opening my order I found the box already tore up. The seal o ring for the bulb assembly was torn and hanging out the side of the threads . .
Save your money and buy a mag lite
