Do the freedom panels install directly over the front zipper section once the bonnet is removed?
Yes they do.
Will this top work with the windshield down?
Yes it can. There are straps to keep the corners tights when the front is disconnected from the front header portion.
Is this top easily removed, rolled up and stored for a day of Jeeping? Only to be popped back on if the weather changes?
Yes once this is initially installed you can unzip the front and remove the rear section. Initial installation about 30 minutes. Subsequent installation about 10 minutes. Keeping in mind if the weather changes to rain then this will do very little for protection.
Have they made any kind of rain guard for gap between door and roll bar for any of these soft tops.
Nothing like that is available for filling the gaps. This is not intended for wet weather use so proper seals are not of a concern for Jeep
Is this waterproof and will it keep the rain out?
The black vinyl option is made from the same material as the base model soft top is made from so yes this is waterproof material. Rain can still get in along the sides though where the gap between the doors and the sport bar are.
How much of the top has to be removed to install the hard top back on? Do you have to do everything to install it, just in the reverse? The instructions talk about a zipper, but there is no mention of that in the installation.
The front header portion can stay attached at the windshield. Unzip that from the rear section and undo the buckles and screws for the roll bar to remove the primary bonnet section.
Does This fit the Jeep Galdiator Rubicon ?
Yes this will fit all Gladiator models and trim packages
Can the bonnet stay on and the hard top be put back on over the bonnet?
No the bonnet must be removed before putting the hardtop or soft top back on the vehicle
Can water penetrate the sailcloth top? I am interested to hear if the sailcloth top will stop water from coming into the cab from directly above.
The sailcloth sun bonnet is made from the same material that the soft tops are made from, so it will hold water.
I only have a hardtop, will this fit without the door frames?
Yes this straps around the sport cage.
