This is a very stout differential cover, I’m very pleased, I like the open design of this cover, very easy to get mud and debris out of it.., some of the others are pretty solid apron done the diff. With an opening in the top, cannot get the mud and such out.. perfect fit, well built..NOTE: when removing existing cover bolts, do it slow and easy by hand, no power tools, just an open end wrench, if you take it easy you will not break the seal on the cover, then tighten by hand, after snug I used a ratchet to complete the torque.. worked perfectly, and no leakage.. enjoy

Guard fit perfectly, only after I installed the correct differential cover. Someone installed a high pinion Dana 30 cover. Will not work as the cover sits right atop the fill plug. Will only work with a low-pinion cover.

Does not fit over a G2 cover.
