Reviews for Quadratec 3rd Brake Light LED Ring for 18-21 Jeep Wrangler JL

Super easy to install and the plug and play wiring is great. My complaint is in the photo and one of the comments indicate the led's have a smoke covering. The item I received the led's are in a white plastic and it looks like a string of pearls. I think it definitely detracts from the quality and look of the unit but when the brakes go on, it looks fantastic.

Install only took about a half hour as I wanted to be careful with the connections. The connector that replaces the factory one had a small locking tab that came out but it still connected ok. You have to ensure you push the connectors in tight so you don’t run into intermittent connectivity, I also used electrical tape to make sure everything stayed secure. Works great and brings a nice look and added safety to the rear of the vehicle, now let’s just see how well it holds up to the New England winters, lol.

The LED ring has 5 missing LED's...I believe to align with wheels with 5 spokes.
My wheels are 6 spoke Fuel Beasts and those missing LED's do show no matter how you rotate it. I returned it and am dissapointed they eliminated 5 of them because it "looks" like the blanks ones showing are burnt out.

Looks like it was a poorly thought through cost reduction exercise ? Make the full 360' with LEDs and I'll be happy to purchase in the future.

Easy install but the y did not work w/ my 3rd brake light and we had to take it off.

Wiring harness did not match with my 2018 JL

False / inaccurate advertised description. Website states “Features a waterproof smoked lens over a ring of 85 individual LEDs that appears as a stealth unit when off, and brightly illuminated when lit.”

This is the product that I was sent. Obviously no smoked lens. My email to customer service has gone unanswered to date.
