Reviews for Rough Country 1082 Rear Bar Pin Flag Nuts for 84-01 Jeep Cherokee XJ
Yep, it was just what I needed. They worked great also.
If your rear shocks have blown out the welded nuts on the crossmember, this will fix the problem. Not hard to use, but a bit tricky at first- needing one hand for the shock, one for the wrench, and one to hold this......but it solves the problem, and cheap, too boot.
These worked Great! Hardest part was removing the old nut with broken bolt. Definitely recommend these as a solution to rusted/broken shock bolts.
Pretty much the best thing to ever happen to your suspension. 2 broken bolts and 2 welded bolts later, I broke out the air die grinder and air chisel and knock the original nuts out and replaced them with these. They slide right in through the pockets in either side of the frame for simple and easy mounting. To save yourself some hassle if you aren't using a bar pin eliminator, thread one bolt to start, hang shock on bolt and use the weight to hold the bracket in place while you install the other bolt.
