I read that it is recommended 3.75 of backspacing with this lift kit. If I have the stock 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport steel wheels. If I install a 1.50-wheel will that be sufficient Thanks, Rich
Yes, that should be clear of RC's guidance by .25". Factory backspace on that wheel is 4.98" Thanks for your inquiry.

What is the interior width of the u-bolts in this kit?
This kit comes with two u-bolts sets, a pair of 3" I.D and 2.75" I.D. That will cover the Dana 35 and Chrysler 8.25 rear axles. Thank you for the question.

Do I need to replace my driveshaft for this lift on a 99 XJ? What additional parts do I need to consider installing this lift?
Caused by excessive angle on the transfer case slip yoke. Very common on vehicles with 2” or more of lift. Lifts of 2”-3.5” can sometimes be cured with a transfer case drop kit (pinion adjustment may also be required- see
acceleration and deceleration vibration troubleshooting above). If this does not cure it, it will likely require installing a slip yoke eliminator (SYE) kit and CV drive shaft. Adjust pinion so it is 2 degrees below parallel with CV drive shaft (see acceleration and deceleration vibration troubleshooting above). A transfer case drop kit can usually be omitted with a CV drive shaft. Thanks for your inquiry.

I'm confused on this product. Is it a 3 inch or 4.5 inch. I want just a 3 inch with leaf springs and what tire size will I be able to use. If you can help that would be great
Both options provide 3 inches of lift and Rough Country says they clear 31 x 10.50 with -19mm offset which is 3.75 inch on backspace on an 8" wide wheel. Thanks for your inquiry.

Are the ubolts for a dana 35 or a chrysler 8.25
Per the manufacturer, the u-bolts are compatible with both axles.
