Versatility

I ordered this on Friday. It arrived on Saturday (without paying for a shipping upgrade). I installed it on Sunday. The hitch is excellent quality and it was easy to install by myself. The bike rack took me about 20 minutes to assemble. It, too, is very good quality. This is my second purchase from Quadratec and I have to say that I'm impressed with the service I've received both times. Good quality accessories for my 2014 JK and excellent customer service! Thank you.

The installation of the hitch and the bike rack was simple. I did have to purchase a torque wrench to properly secure the hitch to the Jeep as per the installation instructions. I used some black nylon cable ties to dress the wiring harness to the undercarriage of the Jeep. I wanted to ensure the wiring harness was free and clear from any potential road hazards in the future. The box the products were shipped in arrived banged up and the hitch was slightly damaged in the area where the wiring harness is attached to the hitch. I was able to bend that piece back into the proper form with no further issues. Overall happy with the Versahitch bundle, however, I was missing the cable lock. Quadratec customer service was able to assist me via chat and shipped the cable lock without any hassle. Highly recommend this bundle if you are in the market for a bike rack.

Overall, I'm happy with this purchase, but there are a few things others should know before they pull the trigger.

The VersaHitch must be wider than the standard hitch, so it covers up the final wiring harness fastening clip hole on the rear cross member. There is a suitable hole on the VersaHitch in approximately the same location, but the placement of the fastening clip on the wiring harness lead makes this a little tight.

You will need a 5/16" hex key to assemble the bike rack. Not a huge deal, but I didn't have one this large, so I had to borrow from my neighbor.

The biggest criticism I have is that you cannot fully open the cargo door with the rack on, even in the lower position.
