Great extra step to a side rail for shorter people

I added the Dominator D6 Side Rails and the Jeep is just a little too tall for easy in and out for family members. These are a perfect fit and easy add on.

Review is for D6 drop steps. Packaging was great and all pieces were there but that's about it. The steps look good, powder coating was good. The mounting flanges were bent on several corners but I was able to straighten them using a crescent wrench. The install has been a real challenge. Instruction were clear enough but the nut plates for the back mounting would not align with the D6 main step board. I had to drill about 50% of the holes to make them fit. The reason is the drop steps were not all exact in their assembly. All issues were on the back mounts. Some were welded at the wrong angle, and did not align without a lot of tugging and using an alignment punch tool. I needed to move on a little bit forward and 5 out of 6 stainless bolts "gauded" on me and ended up having to cut them off with a side grinder. I'll own up to over tightening as the cause but I used only 75 inch pounds torque. Instructions clearly say "Don't Over Tighten"!!! I like the way these look and they really help my wife with climbing in our jeep. Due to all the fitment issues and the lack of quality control from GoRhino, this will be the last product I purchase from them. I also called their customer service dept and left a voice mail and sent them an email but never got a return from either. Love the look and the product does what it is supposed to do. I just had to fight the installation all day.
