Yes this is compatible with the factory hitch. The difference in the lamps is either flush mounted into the bumper or cube lights which are slightly recessed. The optics on both lights are a 90 degree flood. Thank you for the question.

I have the hitch with the electrical connection for a trailer. I have that harness plugged into the left tail light. Can I plug the backup lights that came with the bumper into the other (right) tail light?
The light harness will piggyback the tow hitch harness. Make sure to attach the trailer harness to the vehicle harness first and then connect the backup harness to the taillight.
