Reviews for Quadratec Interior Door Handles - Pair for 82-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ, 97-06 Wrangler TJ with Full Steel Doors
The handle itself is good, but the latch rod retainers keep breaking. It would be nice if they were higher quality plastic, or better yet, metal like the one on the tailgate handle.
Latches themselves were great, but when installing notices that jeep had two different styles of inner parts. Having a few problems with the odd door with locking and unlocking.
Cheap quality
Before I begin, I am using these interior handles in the end and they are a good replacement to stock ones that might be worn out. But the door lock buttons are not the same as stock and are reversed. Meaning that the button side that says “lock” is pushed in when the door is actually unlocked and the blank side is pushed in when the door is locked. I’m not sure if this was a manufacturing error or just poor effort to replicate them properly. It is fixable, though, you just have to take apart the two handles and change the lock switches to the opposite handles. It works now and I’m happy, but it was annoying because I expected a product that was ready to go.
They're cheaply made and not of the greatest quality. I'm on my 2nd door handle in a 4 month period.
A week after installing these one of the handles breaks off while opening the door. Don't think that's supposed to happen.
