Reviews for Smittybilt Neoprene Seat Covers for 18-23 Jeep Wrangler JL Unlimited
Everyone that sees the installed product comments that they look good. A couple have been surprised to hear that they were covers, not the seat itself. The installation process is pretty clear and rudimentary. Time will tell how long the tight look today lasts.
Instructions were not the greatest. Had to find a You-tube video that helped, once i figured it out they look great
These are the snuggest fitting seat covers I've ever installed. It was a bit of a challenge to get the front seats covered as there isn't much room to get one's arms under to grab the long straps and hook them together. So all in all, it took some time, and a lot of tugging, but once on, they look great, they feel great, and I believe they will wear well. Compared to other brands that I've used, I feel that these seat covers are worth the money spent.
Well made and easy to install. Like everyone else said, Instructions are not the greatest, but a little common sense goes a long way!
I just installed the brown covers on my '18 JL U Sahara edition. I've installed similar neoprene covers on my '01 TJ before. These fit pretty well, would give them 4.5 stars. Installation takes some time but one seat at a time they all come together. One feedback point, it would be great for the front bottom pieces if there was a better cross-buckle tether rather than the short flimsy elastic tethers. The ones that are on the inside (center console side) of each bottom piece seem impossible to reach and not much to really attach them to under the seat trying to not hook them on the electrical components. For the money and the feel after they're on, I would recommend these.
They look great, like everyone else said, they were hard to install,
Family and I all love these seat covers. Very comfortable and look great - others do not realize I have covers on. Installation a bit difficult but not crazy hard - take your time and enjoy the install. I don't believe they would fit tight and flush if they went on easy.
Do not pull too tightly on the clip fasteners under the seats. Tore 2 or 3 at seams fairly easy where sewn. Perhaps my error but with tight seat covers I pulled what I thought was appropriate - minus one star here.
Overall awesome at price but I haven't tested fade through the summer yet. Cheers.
Beautiful in my Rubicon.
Seem well built and fairly easy to install.
Only negative would be the fit around rear seat back release but it works and i don’t utilize the rear seat that often. I would recommend to anyone looking to protect the seats in their Jeep.
Fairly easy to install, still trying to get a few wrinkles out of the seat covers but think they will be fine. Fit well, the front seat upper section could use a better way to attach to assure proper fitment.
I bought these for my wife’s JL a couple weeks ago. So far they’ve been great. I’m impressed with the fit and quality for the price point. Install was pretty easy as well.
