Reviews for Quadratec Complete Door Handle Kit for 82-95 Jeep CJ & Wrangler YJ, 97-06 Wrangler TJ
Good stuff, it's been about 6 months since I changed my old crusty musty rusty door handles. These new semi new ones work smooth like butter. Installation is a pain in the head but take your time and it come together real nice. 100% recommend for quality and function but be warn about Installation would suggest watching a few vids before starting.
Thanks
Worked great
Kind of a pain to install but work well. I’ve had them installed on my hard top doors now for a year and still working good.
Perfect OEM replacement
Fits perfect, a little difficult to swop out my hands aren't exactly small, but they look and work great
In response to Adam H. I noticed the same thing. When these were assembled they put the driver side on the passenger side & vice versa. They just snap together so the lock buttons can be switched to indicate Lock position correctly.
Well they open the doors 99% of the time, had one slip loose so I had to use a coat hanger to actuate the latch so I could open the door and reconnect it.. and the driver side exterior handle is already peeling and rusting after almost exactly one year...
The lock label on rocker is reversed? Seems like a simple thing to get right. That's annoying :(
Installed these on a 95 YJ about 2 months ago because the center was cracked in the oem. I thought ordering the quadratec brand would be a reliable choice. First thing I noticed was they did feel like a lighter plastic compared to oem. After installing them I found it weird that when you open the door from the outside the inside lever extends which is weird. In two months the Jeep has been driven about 6 or 8 times. Handle snapped off under regular use to open the door. Garbage.
